Crystalline rock salt is a natural
ioniser. Rock salt crystals and lamps effectively
improve the quality of the air by producing negative
ions - the "vitamins of the air".
Negative ions can be found in billions, on mountain
tops, water falls and by the sea. They give the air its
invigorating freshness, which is so good for us.
In Europe, bioenergotherapists and homeopathists
recommend salt crystal lamps to assist in the treatment
of many health conditions.
Salt crystal lamps are highly suitable for daily use
near televisions and computers, around smokers, in
offices with air-conditioning, during massage therapy,
in meditation rooms and anywhere else you want to
restore or preserve the natural air quality. Today, the
health benefits of ionisers are well recognised; whilst
most ionisers on the market are man made machines, the
crystal salt lamps are a beautiful alternative of Mother
Nature's.
Each lamp has been carefully hand crafted, and is
unique.
Salt crystal lamps are made from salt crystal rock
formed by nature over hundreds of millions of years ago,
and mined 800 metres underground in salt rock mines in
Asia and Europe.

Marble is metamorphic rock resulting from the
recrystallization of limestone. Commercially however all
Calcareous rocks produced by nature and capable of
taking a polish are called marbles, as are some
dolomitic and serpentine rocks.
The color, veinings, clouds, mottlings and shadings in
marble are caused by substances included in minor
amounts during formation. Iron oxides make the pinks,
yellows, browns and reds. Most greys, blue-greys and
blacks are of bituminous origins. Greens are caused by
micas, chlorites and silicates.

Limestone Products
Limestone is defined as a rock of sedimentary origin composed principally of
calcium carbonate or the double carbonate of calcium and magnesium, or a
combination of these two minerals.
Limestone contains a number of distinguishable natural characteristics,
including calcite streaks or sports, fossils or shell formations, pit holes,
reedy formations, iron sports, travertine like formations and grain formation
changes.

Granite Products
Granites usually have been classed as igneous rocks derived from molten masses
or magmas.
The chief minerals of which granites are formed are feldspars and quarts and
smaller amounts of mica and hornblende. They are classified as fine-grained,
medium grained or coarse-grained.
